Corporate Travel Coordinator

VIP is seeking a Corporate Travel Coordinator to work directly with our employees and subcontractors to make travel arrangements including flights, car rentals and lodging. The Travel Coordinator will have access to our Corporate Travel agency, but will be responsible the majority of the time for making the arrangements through the various travel sites, airlines, car rental agencies and hotels directly to find the most cost effective and efficient travel logistics for our employees and subcontractors. Candidate Requirements

The candidate must have previous experience handling travel arrangements for roughly 100-200 employees. S/he must be resourceful and feel comfortable with internet searches for travel purposes. The candidate must have excellent time management skills in order to be able to respond quickly to travel requests and or concerns regarding existing travel plans. The candidate must have experience in a fast-moving, dynamic environment, such as a startup company or organization in transition and be able to work independently. S/he must possess a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Word, Excel, and Outlook. The candidate must have strong written and verbal communication skills. The candidate must possess the ability to convey a professional image, as well as effectively represent the organization as appropriate in its relationship with the community.
