Though both men and women are allowed to be members of this site, the site is primarily designed to be a woman's site. Why? If you are a woman, you probably understand that no matter how great a man/men you have in your life: your dad, boyfriend, fiancé, husband, first date etc., you still need your girls. Women want and need support networks to live full and happy lives. Your life expectancy and life quality is dependant upon positive and supportive relationships. As nice as the opposite sex can be, in a lot of ways they are still very opposite-hence where girlfriends come in.
